Mothers' Day Celebration @Wo Peng Restaurant

I sAW this recommendation in Simply Her magazine. Decided to gif it a try for Mother's Day- my mum and me representg rickkkk for his mum.

all the dishes were Tasty and Special. We ordered:

1. Black Chicken wif He Shou Wu (a chinese medicine believed to be taken for black hair.)
2. Smoked Duck. as a duck lover,tis dish is new to me. its a hot dish which tasted abit lik ham.
3. Fish in 2style: fried in claypot wif brinjal and pork; steam wif Xue Cai (a kind of shanghainese vege wich my MIL likes)
4. Baked Lobster wif Ee Fu Mee. tis isnt as great as described by the food critic tho.

This is the featured dish-Peng Cai a popular dish for Lunar New Year. When it was dished out, only one word came out- Woowww. all of us cant stop commentg the high grade of ingredients in it! Wow, the large fresh Scallops and prawns, medium size abalone, huge mushroom and oysters, brocoli and fa cai, and roast pork. This was the best dish. a whooping $132 for tis pot.

The nite before, we all met up at bugis at Phin's Steakhouse and chit-chat til 1am. =). The food is better than Swensen's and for a better price.
