on the 1st day, we took a 2hr train to HUALIAN. upon checking in to the boutique hotel, we learnt ther was free rental of bicycles. so we cycled to the nite market lookg for dinner. its our first time cycling overseas and its safe as hualian is a cyclist friendly place.
on the 2nd day, we engaged a taxi driver to bring us to Taroko National Park. its well known for its scenery.
on the 3rd day, we rented a car and drove along the East Rift Valley, onward to taitung springs. its an accomplishment for rick to drive using left hand drive. at nite, we relaxed at an outdoor hotspring.
on the 4th day, we went to san sian tai, xiao ye lu. cnt resist the landscape dat we did many model poses.hah.
on the 5th day, its time to take a 5hr train bk to taipei. we proceeded to shilin ye shi for food and shopping.
on the 6th day, we went to yangmingshan by public transport as ther was a calla lilies festival. ther were plots of lands w fresh calla lilies which the public r allowed to pluck and bring home for a fee. i did tat too. i realy lik tis trip! i love flowers.at nite, we went for tis MK ma la steamboat buffet which includes haagen daz free flow ice cream. highly recommended!
